My review of Catbird Singing Amish Horse Series Book II by Thomas Nye

I just finished reading a book called Catbird Singing  Amish Horses Series Book II by Thomas Nye. I received it free from bookcrash.com. It was an awesome book about a young man who is not Amish but has Amish family. I love books about horses and Amish, put them together it makes for a great read.  Anything book with God in it is great as well. I could not live like they do but it think it's a nice way to live. I would miss TV and internet not to forget electricity. But living off the land and farming with horses and cattle seems nice. I would love to do that one day. For now I will settle for reading about it instead. This is a great book to read and escape into. A must read and you won't want to put it down until the very end. It has God and horses, love and family. It has everything you need in a book.

It's the second in the series and I can't wait to read the third one. Also the first one I never read the first but if I get a chance I will. I would recommend this book to anyone.

I also received another great book from JK Bovi called Dead Man's Fingers. It's funny too.  Makes me want to visit Savannah Georgia. But I would not want to find a dead body anywhere. A great kids book for any age. Parents read it and then kids can read it back. My 2 youngest love this book. I  sat down with my 3 year old daughter and 1 year old son two days ago and read this book to them. It took me awhile to read because they kept touching and talking about the pictures. It teaches a great lesson and has a fun activity at the end for the kids to do. My kids have looked at the book multiple times since I got it. They even agrue whose book it is. My oldest daughter who is 7 loves it and read it herself.  It is a very colorful book with lots of neat pictures for kids to love. I think all parents should have this book, no matter their kids ages. It teaches that bragging isn't good and no one benefits from it at least that what I got from it. I try to tell my kids not to brag about stuff. Just be happy with what you have and be thoughtful of others feelings. This book kept my kids attention until the very end. That's when you know you have a great children's book.  My 3 year old was counting and pointing along with me as I read it. A must read for all families.

 I cried while reading this book.  I put it down last night so I could pray to thank God for all he has down for my family and me. I know this book is fiction but it has a lot of truth to it as well. Everyone should believe in God and pray for all to thank him and ask for help or forgiveness but also to praise him mostly. Live life to the fullest because there is no guarantees of tomorrow. That's one thing I learned more about while reading this book. It's not preachy just trying to get you to understand. Prepare but live as God wants you too. This book opened my eyes alittle more than before I read it. A must read for believers and nonbelievers alike.

This is a heartfelt and very moving story. Books about God (fiction/nonfiction) are great to read. They all have love and misunderstandings and understandings. Also a little heartbreak too. That's what makes it a great story too read. This book is not meant to stay on a shelf and collect dust. It is meant to be shared. So I will pass it on to my family members, hopefully they will pass it along too. That way everyone can read it, learn from it also enjoy it.

What a great imagination April Scott Goss has with this book. Its got knights and magic of sorts. Very fascinating to read. A great book for kids who love knights. Adults would like it too. The characters are likable and in a way relatable. It has family and friendship. I feel like I know the characters and care for them. To me that's when the book is awesome and means something.
